Our vision

“Preserving memory also means passing on values and opening possibilities for the future.”

We want to connect Khnata Ronda’s story with practical action: so that the courage of a woman of yesterday helps the women of today build their own path.

Our mission

  1. Preserve and pass on the memory of Khnata Ronda.
  2. Highlight the contribution of women to the history of Morocco.
  3. Encourage women’s participation in social and economic life.
  4. Improve access to information, healthcare, education and training.
  5. Support sustainable, community-based solidarity initiatives.

Our values

Our commitments

  1. Women’s autonomy

Supporting women towards economic independence, health and training.

  2. Solidarity

Working with people in vulnerable situations, in towns and in the countryside.

  3. Transmission

Keeping the memory of Khnata Ronda alive among young generations.

Our plans

The association is growing step by step. These are the areas it plans to develop.

  1. Partnerships on the ground

Building partnerships with institutions, local authorities, businesses and local actors to launch the first initiatives.

  2. Rural areas

Gradually extending our work to women in rural areas, depending on partnerships and available resources.

  3. A memory archive

Gathering testimonies, photographs and documents about Khnata Ronda and 29 January 1944.

  4. Shared results

Tracking the results of our work and reporting them to members, partners and the public.

Our team

The Khnata Ronda Association is supported by women and men united by a shared purpose: keeping a memory alive, acting in solidarity and opening new prospects for future generations.
